  1. Join a gym: How many have you joined already that didn’t work out. You know the routine they’ll charge you an arm and a leg for their initiation fee, then if that’s not bad enough, they charge you “rent” every month…whether you show up or not. I should know, I used to work for some of the biggest clubs in the nation.
  2. Hire a personal trainer: This is a good option, if you don’t mind shelling out $65-$120 per 45-minute session. And frankly, per-sonal trainers tend to focus more on weight training and long, slow (boring) cardio workouts.
